Celebrity Make-Unders
I have a confession to make. I’m one of those celebrity stalkers. I enjoy reading about them online and in magazines. Something about it is just fascinating. It’s not that I’m jealous or day dream about wanting to have their lives. If anything I pity them (i.e. Britney Spears), but on occasion you find a star who has a rags-to-riches story or intriguing family history that is interesting.
Two of the sites I follow are Cheaty’s Celebrity Gossip Blog and Dlisted on a daily basis. Go check them out. Good stuff.
When I saw this photo today I couldn’t figure out who it was. Any guesses?

Gwyneth Paltrow. It SO does not look like her! The hair - yes. The nose & eyebrows - not so much.

Go check out this photo shot she did for a magazine for more pictures. I know the girl has some done a few whacked out things - like naming her children Apple & Moses, but I enjoy watching her movies. Personally, I am not a fan of this photo-shopped look.
oh she looks yeah, not really so great….

Weird.
Ya, I am a celebrity gossip stalker too. Big time. I read Pink is the New Blog, Just Jared, Celebrity Smack, US magazine and Cheaty’s everyday. I can’t get enough of it! LOL
i just read about “everyday celebrity stalkers” in the sunday styles section of the new york times a few weeks ago and i found a website they referenced (idontlikeyouinthatway.com). i even linked it on my site. the article talked about the new obsession of seeing a star’s cellulite or acne scars, or un-madeup face, hair roots, etc. because people are now onto the idea of magazines and photoshoppping so people are dying to point out a star’s flaws to make themselves feel more human.
for me, i love celebrity faux-pas in regards to seeing ugly outfits on gofugyourself–that’s my ultimate shame. however, i agree, it is funny to see a bad acne photo of britney to remember that these “stars” are indeed real people with real problems. however, i do think the tabloids should just leave people alone after awhile–look at lindsey lohan. poor girl. she’s now using this negative press as a form of personal fame and recognition. she needs help–like a lot of us.
great post.
She looks like my mom. My mom doesn’t look like Gwyneth.
ewwww…that’s an awful picture of Gwyneth. I’ve always thought she was pretty. That pic doesn’t do her justice.
