When All Is Said & Done
Whew, it’s over. I’m officially 30 and there is nothing I can do about it. The festivities (which included many, many lunches & dinners) have ended and once you blow out the candles all you have left is the smoke.
Thanks for all the well wishes and sympathy. Much appreciated. Now I find myself sitting before a desk full of paperwork that needs to be done, but remembering it’s a Monday and that I’m usually not motivated until mid-week for that type of work.
So instead I want to talk about reality TV ~ my unhealthy obsession. Even 30 year olds watch it!
Who will admit to watching Big Brother? I do! I was happy to see Jen go last Thursday, but I’m sad Dick and Danielle didn’t get nominated last night. If ever a two whiney butts needed to go, it’s them! They are good players though.
As for The Real World, I haven’t really gotten into it this season. Maybe I’m over all the drinking and sleeping around?
The Hills totally has my heart. I’m Team LC all the way!!!!! I read that Spencer is using Heidi for fame (no, really?).

I guess I’m just too old or cranky, but I’ve never been able to resolve the camera crews being where the ‘reality’ is on those shows, and have never been able to sit through even one episode of any of them. They must be popular though, as they seem to be multiplying:)

Happy Birthday. 30 was not that bad. 35 was much worse. You can still check the box for 18-34 age group.
Owen made me wonder if the pressure with always having to be funny, personally made you depressed? I hope not, and if he is depressed lets hope he receives the help he needs. He is one good actor..We don’t have a whole lot of them anymore unless you like Tom Cruise..I hope not….

I’m a BB fanatic. I’ve watched every single season. My all time fave player is Dr. Will. Love him.
I have a confession to make…I love Evil Dick. *hangs head in shame* I do think he is evil and I think he can be extremely harsh…but I can’t help wondering how much of it is for show. I’ve listened to some of his talks with Daniele and he seems like a pretty good Dad. But I could be wrong…but I still like him.
I had nothing but hate for Jen. Hate. So glad she is gone. Crybaby Amber…I hope she’s gone this week (show got pre-empted here due to frickin’ pre-season football. (love football, love BB more)
I think the direction of next weeks nominations depends on who becomes the HH. If it’s Dick or Daniele I wonder if we’ll see them try to remove either Eric or Jessica? If it’s either Jessica or Eric I have a feeling they’ll attempt to get Dick or Daniele out. I don’t think J or E would have any trouble getting Zach and Jameka to vote either of them out and then make a run on everyone else to become final 2.
I’m also a huge Survivor fan. Can’t wait for the new season to begin. And the last reality tv show I love is The Amazing Race. Love, love, love it.
