Modern Conveniences
I came to a realization today. Since my husband received an Xbox for Christmas and can play Tiger Woods Golf from the comfort of our home, he will never need to spend money playing on a course again!
No more Saturday afternoon’s spent trying to coax a ball into a hole the size of a cup.
No more purchasing golf balls to replace the one’s he lost.
No more bitching about how it only rains on the weekends.
He doesn’t agree, but I believe I may have just purchased the best gift ever!!!
Oh you and my fiance both!
Oh I’m afraid you are in for a rude shock when warm weather hits and hubby is back out on the fairway. LOL
here, here!
giggling.
it’s certainly a cheaper option.
If only…my mother always said don’t marry a golfer or a hunter. Lucky for me, My Better Half doesn’t swing a club or carry a gun but let me tell you, he’s a complete video game junkie and, to me, that’s a worse affliction.
I’d be scared to suggest such a thing to my husband - he might buy me a sims game and suggest that i get all my retail therapy needs taken care of in a virtual world!
Love that game! It’s so real, it’s scary…
It is a perfect theory…but he’s a guy, I am sure it won’t work that way. It may however cut down on the rainy weekend bitching which is still HUGE.
My ex boyfriend was obsessed with golf (he ended up becoming a golf course architect). One of my requirements in a husband was that he NOT be a golfer. Thank goodness my husband rarely plays.
I just found you so I don’t want to jump right in and burst your bubble but…
Okay, I’ll just leave it then lol. Sure he’ll be happy with the XBox and no more golf for him! lol. good luck with that:)
Best gift in the world if you like going to bed by yourself!!
Those things are addictive!
I’ve played the games with my 13 year old grandson..they are so fun..even though I do terrible it makes William laugh at his grandma…I heard a lot of senior citizens are enjoying this game (bowling) as well..
Regarding your husband and the golf course…don’t get too upset..however, this won’t prevent him from going it will make it want to go more..as he’ll believe he’s better becasue of the game..
Oh well
My best,

remember to call gram
We recently got a Wii. I’m sure there’s a golf game on one of the games. Now, if he will only be happy playing that way…
I’m not holding my breath.
